Upon completion of her studies in opera in the United States, Jennifer Porto came to Germany in 2005 as a Fulbright stipend holder. She was a member of the solo ensemble at the Oper Leipzig for many years, and enjoyed a successful freelance singing career both during and after. She began moderating concerts in both English and German during her time in Leipzig, and has since enjoyed a rapidly expanding career as a moderator in a variety of settings. She recently added teaching to her growing portfolio of activities, teaching a film studies course in Berlin.
