He currently leads ADB-wide knowledge management and innovation work in various thematic (climate change, environment, gender, social development, governance, food security, regional cooperation, fragile and conflict affected situations, and digital technology) and sector (infrastructure, health, education, and finance) operations areas. He is responsible for establishing sector and thematic policies, strategies, frameworks and operational plans, and new business lines. He also develops and ensures compliance with ADB’s environment and social safeguards policy. He oversees the administration of single/multi-donor trust funds, project cofinancing, and global funding initiatives and management of ADB-wide cofinancing data.
He has a master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Boston College. He is also a Honorary Sustainable Development Professor at Yonsei University.
